With our Christmas Book Bash coming to an end, it's my turn to share a little something with everyone. But first, I'd like to say thank you. This year has been a wonderful experience for me as a debut author and it wouldn't have been possible without all of you wonderful readers who enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. I'd also like to extend a warm heartfelt thank you to each and every author that made this holiday giveaway possible. I'm blessed with great readers and wonderful friends! Thank you! Though I'm bringing up the end of our book bash with the last post, this don't mean the giveaways are over! Each author's giveaway will be open and ready for you to enter for a while yet. Wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the fun. ;) Now for the sweet treats! About five months ago my daughter found this delicious dessert and begged to make it. Now I'm not admitting to any kind of M&M addiction, but if you suffer from this, you might want to make this recipe right away! It has a way of soothing the urge to M&M binge. :) ![]() Thick and Chewy M&M Cookie Bars Yield: 1 9x1 3 pan Prep Time: 1 5 min Cook Time: 30 min Total Time: 45 min These cookies are soft, chewy, and chocked full of M&M's! Ingredients: 2 1 /8 cups flour 1 /2 tsp salt 1 /2 tsp baking soda 1 2 Tbsp butter (1 1 /2 sticks), melted and cooled slightly 1 cup brown sugar 1 /2 cup white sugar 1 large egg 1 large egg yolk 2 tsps vanilla extract 1 1 2oz bag M&M's, divided Directions: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Adjust the oven rack to lower-middle position. Grease a 9x1 3 pan and set aside. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda and set aside. In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugars until combined. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and mix well. Using a rubber spatula, fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture until just combined; do not over mix. Fold in 1 cup of M&M's and turn the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with the spatula. Sprinkle remaining M&M's on top and press in slightly. Bake 25-30 minutes, until the top of the bars is light golden brown, slightly firm to the touch, and edges start pulling away from sides of pan. Cool completely before cutting. Enjoy! I've heard through the grapevine that Santa LOVES this option to cookies. Just sayin'! Be whisked away to Mexico in Sunset for Three as Mia sets an erotic plan of seduction in motion that leads her former Recon Marine bosses into a dangerous position between protecting her from a vengeful drug lord and following their heart's desires. The stakes are high and and they have only one erotic night on a deserted beach to claim her as theirs, but can Marc and Colt keep Mia safe while exploring their passions?
